Rancho Las Lomas Wedding with Pops of Blue

Wedding tradition says a bride should have something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. This classic Rancho Las Lomas wedding was all that and more! We are still swooning over the floral design for this modern affair along with their pops of blue vintage glassware! A big thank you to Cortney Helaine Events for planning this beautiful day to perfection and Sarah Mack Photo and Memory Machine Films for capturing it all. We started things off classic and timeless for the wedding party. The girls wore a strapless sweetheart cut neutral-toned dress and held all white bouquets with greenery matching the bride. The boys looked dashing in their navy suits from The Grotto Menswear and white boutonnieres. We gave our groom an extra touch of greenery to match the bride’s beautiful all-white peonies and roses bouquet. We wanted to keep things organic and lush as they fit the fun personality of our couple.

The ceremony area of Rancho Las Lomas is gorgeous, to begin with. We added greenery to the top of the altar and finished off the design with loose white carnation blooms on both sides. It framed our couple perfectly as they exchanged their vows and shared their first kiss as husband and wife. The great thing about this venue is that couples have the option to flip this ceremony space into a reception and the florals used for this space can double as decor for the evening too.

That’s exactly what Jamie and Jeffery did. They loved the space so much from the ceremony that they repurposed the space to showcase their three-tiered wedding cake from Plumeria Cake Studio. They added a personalized touch with a custom cake topper as themselves dressed in their wedding attire plus their dog! We added a few spray roses and ranunculus to the cake to match the theme of the event. It was a simple touch but love is in the details!

While most of the decor was white, our couple did add pops of blue. We love seeing this for wedding design because it keeps things modern and fun all at the same time. The space featured both round and long tables dressed in white linen and mahogany Chiavari chairs. We added greenery and plenty of candles for the long table to keep things romantic and had beautiful low lush centerpieces for each round table. Both featured the same floral composition as the ceremony flowers featuring ranunculus, carnations, peonies, and spray roses. Each guest setting featured a blue vintage glass from Sundrop Vintage to keep that “something blue” tradition in play. We loved that it set such a fun tone for the evening as guests dined with 24 Carrots Catering and danced to The Mighty Untouchables

And that’s another one for the books! We had so much fun designing this wedding for our lovely couple and we are wishing them all the love and happiness! Cheers!
